Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

Text Messaging and Consent.
We may use text messaging (SMS/MMS) to communicate important updates and promotional information. To comply with A2P regulations, we will obtain your explicit consent before sending promotional text messages.
Opt-In: You will be required to opt-in by providing your explicit consent to receive text messages from us.
Opt-Out: You may opt-out of receiving text messages at any time by replying with “STOP” or following the instructions provided in the message.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How does RateTrac Mortgage collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you:
- Apply for a Mortgage Loan
- Give us your contact information
- Consent to a Third Party we do business with
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only:
- sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
- affiliates from using your information to market to you
- sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
Definitions
Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
- RateTrac Mortgage has no affiliates.
Nonaffiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
- RateTrac Mortgage does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint marketing
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
- RateTrac Mortgage does not jointly market.
Other Important Information
California: In accordance with California law, we will not share information we collect about you with companies outside of RateTrac Mortgage, unless the law allows. For example, we may share information with your consent, to service your accounts. We will limit any sharing to the extent required by California law.
